The reason so many gyms can survive in one community is because people like to find their niche and run with it. Very rarely do you find a person who wants to focus on ALL of those factors at once. Many times people find one of those factors that keeps his of her interest and makes that their hobby. You see a lot of publicity on body-builders who perfect the craft of size and symmetry of their muscles. They are not as concerned about their speed or endurance.
Likewise, some athletes are ONLY concerned with endurance and recovery. They could care less about being big or strong.
So, the question is, what is your goal? Are you trying to achieve overall fitness? Do you want to be strong? Do you want to be flexible? Find your interest and grind it out. Find out what you can do to be better and increase results. And most importantly, understand that not everyone has YOUR same goal.
