Think about your top priorities in life. Faith? Family? Exercise? Work? Make a list of your top 10 things of value and then go back through and think about how much time you put into them?
At first glance my list looks like this:
But as a look at that list I realize that I am kidding myself. Some of the things that rank the "highest" on my list often don't get very much attention. Luckily I get to work with my wife and she is my best friend, so that is always a priority. However my family has fallen by the wayside. In the midst of opening the gym and keeping my workouts going I have seen very little of my family. Also, I love to read and listen to audiobooks but I haven't touched one in over a month. Education seems to hold a low value in life right now.
I meet people every day who say health is important to them but the sad truth is, they don't really invest in it. So the question is, what is your list? Obviously we as your trainers and friends hope that physical and mental health ranks up there. If your feel like health should be at the top of your list but you have trouble investing the time, lets chat. We are real people, who have real lives, and face our own struggles of keeping engaged in our health and fitness. Every day is a battle, and our hope is that we can help you have a better win to loss ratio :)
