Sara and I keep each other motivated and accountable. Hardly a day goes by that one of us is not texting or calling to see if the other is going to class. I love how Matt and Julie keep me focused (sometimes I talk in class). He He. They both are so great to give me alternative exercises to do if need be. I am excited to see Brickhouse expand, and all of the new faces that I see in class. Sara and I have already been talking about our plans for future classes we want to try. I am almost 60 years old and have Rheumatoid arthritis, so there are some limitations to what I can do. But since starting Matt's classes I have not taken my RA medicine for almost 2 years now. I love going to class and really don't miss too many classes. Some nights when I don't really feel like going I go anyway and I come away thinking "wow I feel so much better now!".
I am not a Tough mudder, a marathon runner like a lot of my classmates. But I give my all to do the best I can in class. I have built a lot of friendships and really just don't think I could do what I do without all of the peoples help.
My advice to anybody thinking about wanting to change their lives...being healthy, getting strong, wanting to live longer!! Grab a friend and sign up to do a few classes. The hardest part about working out is getting yourself there. Be accountable to each other. The way you feel after class is worth it.
